Biden pushes Charlottesville quote out of context to smear Trump

#JoeBiden talked about Charlottesville at the #DemConvention last night.

The problem? There’s this one big glaring discrepancy. #SkinnySixty pic.twitter.com/qakNCws0UN— The Duchess of Kansas (@DuchessKansas) August 21, 2020

No matter what “party” you typically vote for, the truth is always what matters most to intelligent people. Joe Biden unfortunately showed that lying was not beneath him when he took Trump’s comments about Charlottesville out of context in an attempt to smear him.The quote by President Trump is summarized below and when read in its entirety proves to mean something entirely different than the proven lie that most Democrats and now even their presidential nominee pushes. Not a good look for Biden considering he was best buds with a high ranking member of the KKK.TRUMP ON CHARLOTTESVILLE:

TRUMP: Excuse me, they didn’t put themselves down as neo-Nazis, and you had some very bad people in that group. But you also had people that were very fine people on both sides… You had people in that group that were there to protest the taking down of, to them, a very, very important statue and the renaming of a park from Robert E. Lee to another name…

THIS IS THE PART THE PRESS SKIPS:

TRUMP: You know what? It’s fine, you’re changing history, you’re changing culture, and you had people – and I’m not talking about the neo-Nazis and the white nationalists, because they should be condemned totally – but you had many people in that group other than neo-Nazis and white nationalists, okay? And the press has treated them absolutely unfairly. Now, in the other group also, you had some fine people, but you also had troublemakers and you see them come with the black outfits and with the helmets and with the baseball bats…

After those comments the reporter plays dumb and asks a bait question in an attempt to frame the false narrative they would push later on.

REPORTER: I just didn’t understand what you were saying. You were saying the press has treated white nationalists unfairly?
