Spooky Witch’s Brew Recipe (Super Simple)

With Halloween right around the corner the demand for a simple Witch’s Brew Recipe increases like no other time. When you’re finished polishing this one off, you’ll definitely be feeling spooky, that’s for damn sure.

This is a recipe that has been around forever and is pretty corny but hey this is about simplicity and fun during Halloween, so what the hell?!

This witch’s brew recipe is also pretty versatile and you can add to it practically anything you’d like to jazz it up. So grab your cauldrons and prepare to start seeing ghosts.

Ingredients

The Punch

  • 1 Gallon of Orange Juice
  • 2 Bottles of Champagne or Spumante
  • A Few Slugs of Vodka (Grey Goose if Possible for Less Headaches)
  • Half Gallon of Sherbert Ice Cream (Optional)

Added Spookiness:  A Floating Hand and Decorations

  • A Latex Free Rubber Glove
  • Water
  • Food Coloring (Optional)
  • Dark Colored Grapes
  • Dry Ice (Optional and Drinking Hazard)

Drink Preparation

Making the Terrifying Hand

Prepare the hand beforehand by filling a latex free rubber glove up with water and food coloring, if you want a specific color. Tie off the glove with some twine or even knot the bottom of it — as long as it seals.

Now just freeze it until solid. When you’re ready to use just slide the glove off or cut it off and drop it into your witch’s brew.

Mixing the Punch

Pour the orange juice, champagne and vodka into the bowl. Next scoop out some sherbert and toss that in if you choose to use it. Give it all a stir and of course a little taste test.

Go ahead and toss in those grape eyeballs, followed up by the frozen floating hand. If you wanted to really make things spooky as all hell, just drop a few pieces of dry ice into the bowl and it will look like a bubbling brew.

However please keep in mind that you can’t ingest dry ice, so if you think people will get too sauced up and put it in their mouth — just skip that feature, if you know what I’m saying…

There you have it! A simple, tasty witch’s brew to serve up at your next party!
