UHRF1 Could Be a Target in Mesothelioma Cases

Breakthroughs seem to be quite the rarity in the healthcare industry, where profits in treatment often seem to take precedence over cures. However recently some new findings have popped up in regards to treating Mesothelioma patients, particularly in regards to UHRF1.

Regulation of expression of the protein ubiquitin-like with plant homeodomain and ring finger domains 1 (UHRF1) may impact survival in patients with malignant pleural mesothelioma. This comes from findings published in the Journal of Thoracic Oncology.
